Bragging On My Father

When I was a child my friends and I would often argue about who had the better Dad. We would brag on our fathers. Each of us was totally convinced that our dad was the mightiest, most amazing man on earth. Tomorrow I'll be teaching a little about my Heavenly Father in Sunday School. I've been looking at Scripture and thinking about Him and how He has been to me for the past nineteen years. Here is a little bit of what I'll preach tomorrow after I've given many Scriptures about the blessings we have in our Father. I'm bragging on my Father, and, if you are one of His children, I encourage you to do the same.
BRAGGING ON MY FATHER
He completely and totally understands me. There is nothing that I can’t talk to Him about. He is sensitive and can keep a secret. He is understanding and does not berate or act astounded at anything that I confess to Him. He is forgiving and compassionate.
He is kind and considerate. He cares enough for me to discipline me when I need it, but it is always for my good. HE ALWAYS HAS MY BEST INTERESTS AT HEART.
I can get ahold of him any time, night or day. He is never away, He never puts me on hold, He never tells me to call back later, and He never has a phone bank or secretary answer my calls.
He strengthens me, supplies for me, satisfies me, steadies me, and stabilizes me. He provides for me, picks me up when I fall, promotes me and protects me. He directs me, divulges wonderful information to me, and diligently defends me.
He is available, amiable and able. He is faithful, full of tender mercies, and forgiving. He is great, He is generous, and He is GOD! He is my Helper when I am in need, my Haven when I am in the storm, and my Healer when I am sick. He is immutable and incomparable. He is just and my Justifier. He is loving, long-suffering, and He looks out for me. He is mighty, magnificent, and the Maker of Heaven and Earth. He is nigh unto all that call upon Him and He is nearer than anyone in all this world could ever be. He is omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent. He is a “very present help in trouble.” He is righteous, rich in indescribable wealth and in grace, and He is ruler of all. He is sovereign and He is supreme. He is true and totally AWESOME. He is victorious. He is willing to save, He walks with me, and He is wonderful!!! HE IS ZEALOUS TO FULFILL HIS WILL IN MY LIFE AND TO BE ALL THAT HE IS FOR ME!!!! He loves being my Father and He loves having me as His son. MY FATHER IS THE GREATEST!
Galatians 4:6 "And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father."

I'm reminded of these verses:
Psalm 9:9-10 "The LORD also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble. And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, LORD,hast not forsaken them that seek thee."

Psalm 118:28-29 "Thou art my God, and I will praise thee: thou art my God, I will exhalt thee. O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever."
Deuteronomy 7:6-9
