Many times, when going door-to-door for church visitation, we have come across people with various religious beliefs such as Mormonism, Catholicism, Evolution, Jehovah's Witnesses, Atheism, etc. If one were to surf the blogosphere, no doubt the results would be the same. As we come in contact with different individuals we can't help but feel sorry for them. They are all caught up in their man-made beliefs thinking they are right when they are in fact far from the truth.
But, the saddest part is the eternal destiny of the unbeliever. When they come to the end of their life, to whom will they turn? For instance, an atheist who denied and mocked God all of his life will not be mocking Him on his deathbed. The Bible clearly teaches us that there will be no atheists in Hell. All those who reject God while they are living will bow to Him at the coming Judgment Day.
Philippians 2:10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
Revelation 20:12-15 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
With that sobering thought in mind, this week we would like to share excerpts of dying testimonies of both the saved and the unsaved (taken from the book "Dying Testimonies of Saved and Unsaved" gathered by Rev. S.B. Shaw). Please come back tomorrow to read the first of our series of testimonies.
